Tribunal Rules

The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal rules are made pursuant to section 16 of the Solicitors (Amendment) Act, 1960 and with the concurrence of the President of the High Court, with effect from 1 January 2017.

These Rules shall apply to any application made to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal after 1 January 2017 and the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Rules 2003 (dated 27 February 2003) shall, subject to the provisions of the Solicitors Acts, 1954 to 2008, continue to apply to any application made to the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal prior to 1 January 2017.
